V Studio Optometry is a community-focused family eye care centre founded in 2019. Based in Perlis, Malaysia, the brand focuses on providing high-quality, fashionable eyewear at affordable prices. The project aimed to transition their local presence into a professional digital platform that balances clinical expertise with a trendy, retail-oriented customer experience.

The Problem

A lack of product clarity and confusing service information made it difficult for customers to understand offerings, compare options, and make confident decisions

Improve clarity, product visibility, and service understanding so new visitors can confidently browse, compare, and contact the optometrist without confusion
Expertise Invisibility
Despite having university-trained optometrists with over a decade of experience, the online presence lacked the professional depth required to build high-level clinical trust.
Retail-Only Perception
Users viewed the business primarily as a frame shop, unaware of advanced services like binocular vision assessments and chronic eye disease screenings.
Geographical Barrier
A lack of local SEO and modern web structure made it difficult for residents in the Kangar area to find professional eye care services online.
Friction in Patient Onboarding

Develop a high-impact visual gallery for frames and contact lenses, allowing users to filter by lifestyle needs, brand, and fashion trends before visiting.
Clinical Service Categorisation
Organise medical services—such as refraction, binocular vision, and health screenings—into distinct, easy-to-understand sections to educate patients on the importance of comprehensive exams.
Localised "Contact & Visit" UX
Prioritise "one-tap" navigation and WhatsApp integration to cater to the local community’s preference for direct messaging and easy physical store access.
Responsive Speed Optimisation
Ensure rapid load times for high-resolution eyewear imagery across all mobile devices, accommodating users with varied internet speeds in the northern Malaysian region.
